Snow Lotus | Lotus des neiges
 
The Saussurea or Snow Lotus absolute has a soft woody-floral scent, reminiscent of iris and vetiver, and is a bit waxy, but lacks any unpleasant rancid nuances, its scent is really quite specific and not everyone is destined to fall in love with it right away. It is considered a good fixator,  a base note, but at the same time it wonderfully accentuates top notes and noticeably improves the diffuseness of the composition. it is definitely an aquired taste for those who are ready to venture deeper into the archived  memories of their soul.
 
Snow lotus represents the unfolding of human consciousness.  It has been used as medicinal plant and spiritual catalyst for many generations.
It is associated with the pineal/3rd eye energy center and is symbolic of the opening and expansion of human consciousness when this energy center matures. Considered to be among the Fine class florals.
